This policy explains what information Lintel Web Co. ("we", "us"), a locally owned business in Genesee County, Michigan, collects through this website and our services, and what we do with it.
What we collect
- Preview requests. The "Request a free preview" form asks only for what we need to build a preview and reply: your name, your business name, one way to reach you (phone or email, your choice), your type of business and an optional message. Please don't send payment card numbers, passwords or other sensitive details through the form.
- Messages. If you email, call or text us, we receive your contact details and whatever you tell us.
- Payments. When you pay, Stripe processes your payment. We see your name, email, the amount and the last four digits of your card. We never see or store your full card number.
- Content for your website. If you hire us, you'll send us information for your site, like your logo, photos and business details.
This website doesn't use cookies, advertising trackers or analytics. See our cookie policy for the details.
When you send the preview request form, you're asked to agree to our terms of service and this privacy policy. Your answer is saved with your request as a record of that agreement.
How we use it
We use your information only to reply to you, build and run your website, bill you, and keep basic business and tax records. We don't sell your information, and we don't share it for anyone else's marketing.
Services we rely on
- Netlify hosts this website and receives and stores our form submissions until we delete them. See Netlify's privacy policy.
- Stripe processes payments. See Stripe's privacy policy.
- Google Fonts provides the typeface on this site, so Google receives your IP address when the page loads. See Google's privacy policy.
- Our hosting provider may keep standard server logs, such as IP address and browser type, for security.
How long we keep it
We review form submissions regularly and delete preview requests that don't become projects within 12 months, both from our email and from our hosting provider. Client and payment records are kept as long as tax and business rules require, usually several years.
Your choices
You can ask us what information we have about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it (except records we're required to keep). Email lintelwebco@gmail.com.
Children
Our services are for business owners. We don't knowingly collect information from children under 13.
Changes
If we change this policy, we'll update this page and the date at the top.
